Biographical Notes
Wedgwood, A., O.B.E., T.D. Staff Director, Northern (N. & C.) Division, National Coal Board. Previously was Assistant Area General Manager, No. 2 (Mid-Northumberland) Area, Northern (N. & C.) Division. In 1929, became a lecturer in the Mining Department of King's College, Newcastle, and in 1945, appointed senior lecturer in the same department. In 1947 joined the Production Department of the Northern Division and in 1950 was appointed to be Assistant to the Divisional Production Director.
