Biographical NotesWalker, L., Area General Manager, No. 6 Monmouthshire Area, South-Western Division, National Coal Board. Born in 1911 and educated at Woodhouse Grammar School. After four years at Aldwarke Colliery, won a Miners' Welfare Scholarship to Sheffield University, In 1947, appointed Divisional Planning Engineer, South-Western Division. Address: Abercarn, Monmouthshire.
