Webster, N. E., O.B E., M.C. Managing Director, Nunnery Colliery Co. Ltd. Was apprentice at Blackwell Collieries Ltd. Certificated Manager, Annesley Colliery Co., Nottingham. Agent of the Plas Power & Iron Collieries of Broughton & Plas Power Colliery Co. Ltd., Wrexham; Consulting Engineer, Brymbo Collieries of Messrs. Baldwins Ltd.; President, North Wales Branch N.A.C.M., 1925; A.M.E.E., 1923 and 1924. Is also General Manager of the Nunnery Coke and Gas Co.; Director of F. J. Jones, Chester; also South Yorkshire Gas Grid Co. Ltd., and others. Author of various papers on scientific subjects. War Service: France, in Tunnelling and Survey Companies, R.E., Major, retired. Married, 1918, Miss I. Hughes, niece of Sir H. Lewis, who piloted through Parllament first grant for Fuel Research. Private Address: Ivydene, Ecclesall, Sheffield.
