Biographical Notes
Thomas, R. H., O.B.E. Marketing and Supplies Member of the National Coal Board, and previously was Deputy Director-General of Marketing Commercial Operations). In 1921, founded the firm of Milner Thomas and Co., Ltd., which later absorbed Messrs. Peake, Oliver and Peake, Ltd., and held the position of Managing Director up to the end of 1946. Has been a member of several British distributive organisations and was Vice-Chairman of the Distributors section of the London and South Emergency Advisory Committee during the war.
