Biographical NotesScott, A., Production Director, North-Eastern Division, National Coal Board. Previously was General Manager of the Carlton Area of the same Division. Obtained a County Major Scholarship to Birmingham University in 1926, and took his B.Sc. degree of Mining. In 1935, was appointed Manager of Teversal, in 1937, Silverhill and in 1940, Pleasley Colliery. In 1945, was appointed Chief Mining Agent for the Carlton Main Colliery Co., Ltd.
