Biographical Notes
Sansom, W. H., O.B.E., M.C. Production Director, East Midlands Division, National Coal Board, also Chairman of the Nottinghamshire Area Consultative Committee, and the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Mineworkers' Rehabilitation Centre, and the Nottinghamshire Miners' Welfare Youth Council. A Trustee of the Notts. Miners' Pension Fund and Joint Savings Fund, and before Nationalisation, was General (Production) Manager of the Bolsover Colliery Company, Ltd. On Nationalisation, became General Manager of No. 3 Area.
