Biographical Notes
Sales, W. H., Appointed Industrial Relations Member, National Coal Board, 1955. After working underground for six years, took a degree in economics at London University in 1930. From that time until 1946, held various teaching posts. In 1947, was appointed Deputy Labour Director of the Board's East Midlands Division. Deputy Chairman, North-Western Division, October, 1951 and Labour Relations Member, 1953. Not related to the Divisional Marketing Director, Mr. T. J. Sales.
