Rhodes & Sons; Consulting Mining Engineer for John Brown & Company Ltd., and other large companies; Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers; Past Chairman, Yorks. Association, Institute of Civil Engineers; Fellow of the Surveyors' Institution; Member of the Council of the Institution of Mining Engineers; Past President of the Midland Institute of Mining Engineers; Member of South African Institution of Engineers.
