Biographical NotesO'Donahue, Thomas Aloysius. Born in Wigan, 1874. Mining Engineer and a Mineral Valuer in the Valuation Office of Inland Revenue Department. Fellow of the Surveyors Institution, Fellow of the Geological Society, Member of Institution of Mining Engineers, and holder of a first class certificate of competency as a colliery manager. Gave evidence on the value of the coal and coal mines of Great Britain before the Sankey Commission, and on breaking lines of strata before the Subsidence Commission. Author of "The Valuation of Mineral Properties," "Mining Formulae," "Field and Colliery Surveying," "The Colliery Engineers' Pocket Book," etc. Address: 236, Rotton Park Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham.
