Biographical NotesNaish, H. W., M.B.E., A.C.A. Director of Establishments (Finance), National Coal Board since 1946. In 1916, was appointed Assistant Director of Finance, in 1918, Assistant Controller of Accounts, and in 1919, Deputy Controller. In 1930, was appointed Chief Finance Officer to the Coal-mines Re-organisation Commission, and to the Coal Commission in 1938. Author of the leading text-book on coal and allied mineral valuation Formulae for Use in Connection with the Valuation of Mineral Properties.
