Biographical NotesMarsh, F., Chief Planning Engineer, National Coal Board since 1948. From Group Surveyor for the Atherton Group of Collieries in the Ownership of Manchester Collieries, Ltd., he became the Company's Planning Engineer until 1946, and on Nationalisation was appointed Divisional Planning Engineer in the Board's North-Western Division. Associate Member of the Institution of Mining Engineers, Member of the Institute of Mine Surveyors, Associate Member of the Mining, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Associate of the Institute of Fuel.
