Biographical Notes
Kellett, A. H., Area General Manager, No. 2 Area, Durham Division, National Coal Board. In 1947, Deputy Area General Manager, No. 1 Area, Northern Division, and was appointed to the new post of Area Production Manager, No. 1 Area, when the administration of the Division was re-organised in 1950. Attended Cambridge University taking an Honours Degree in Mechanical Sciences. Subsequently, took an Honours B.Sc. Degree in Mining at Birmingham University. Between 1925 and 1927 visited other coal-fields in Great Britain, Germany and the United States.

Kellett, A. H., Deputy Chairman, Durham Division, National Coal Board, previously was Area General Manager for No. 2 Area. Was appointed to the new post of Area Production Manager, No. 1 Area, when the administration of the Division was re-organised in 1950.
