Biographical Notes
Knowles, T., Area General Manager, No. 1 (Manchester) Area, North-Western Division, National Coal Board since 1957. For several years was Secretary and Commercial Manager of the Chamber Colliery Co., Ltd., Oldham. From 1955 to 1957 was Assistant General Manager of Manchester Area and previously was in the Finance Department of the North-Western Division.
