Biographical NotesJameson, T., Area General Manager, No. 3 Area, West Midlands Division, National Coal Board since 1951. From 1927-1936, was Manager of Garswood Hall Collieries, Wigan, and from 1936-1937, Chatterley Whitfield Collieries, North Staffordshire. For the next six years was Agent and General Manager of Collins Green Collieries, St. Helens and in 1943, was appointed Agent and General Manager of Gresford Colliery in North Wales. On Nationalisation, was appointed Technical Adviser to the Production Director of the West Midlands Division, National Coal Board. In 1941, was awarded the Edward Medal and decorated by King George VI for taking a leading part in rescue work.
