Biographical Notes

Jenkins, Sir W. M.P. for Neath since 1922. Knighted, January, 1931. Alderman and J.P. for Glamorgan. Is a Miners' Agent. He was elected to the Glamorgan County Council in 1907, and became its Chairman in 1920. He has attended several International Miners' Congresses abroad. Chairman, Glamorgan Education Committee; member, University Council for Wales; Chairman of the Federation of Education Authorities for Wales; Chairman, Standing Joint Committee, Glamorgan. Biographical Notes

Jenkins, Sir William, A., K.B., J.P. Formerly M.P. for Brecon and Radnor. Justice of the Peace for the County of Glamorgan. Is a coal exporter and shipowner. He is Vice-Consul for Greece and Denmark. Past President, Swansea Chamber of Trade, etc. Member of Swansea Borough Council, and a Director of Companies. Address: Baltic Buildings, Swansea.
