Biographical NotesJohn, W. H. Born, Clydach Vale, 1876. Educated in Cardiff. Became pupil Harris Deep Navigation Colliery, Treharris, 1893-1896, and three years later appointed Colliery Surveyor, Powell's Tillery Collieries, Abertillery. Resigned latter position in 1904. Joined Powell Duffryn Co., Aberaman, 1904-1906. Is now chief Colliery Manager of the Ebbw Vale group of collieries. Member of the South Wales Institute of Engineers.
