In loving memory of
James Fletcher
who died October 26th, 1888
aged 68 years.
also of Mary Ann,
dearly beloved wife of the above
who died at North Moor Cottage
June 16th 1900, aged 79 years.

This monument is erected by the workmen and
officials of Trimdon Collieries, and other
friends, as a token of the respect and esteem
won by him during the 30 years he was manager of
these collieries. His loss is greatly deplored.
