Chairman of the Shipley Collieries Ltd., near Derby; Director of the South Bank Gas Co. Ltd. and other companies; Chairman of the North of England Agricultural School, Great Ayton; impartial member of the North Riding Agricultural Wages Board. Club: Reform.
