Biographical Notes
Evans, H. H., J.P. Born 1865. Educated at Ysgol Comin, Aberdare. Began work at Bwllfa Collieries. Under Manager at Gelli Collieries and Mardy Collieries; Manager of Bwllfa Collieries, 1894-1912. Colliery Agent at Albion Steam Coal Collieries, Pontypridd, 1912-1923, and since 1922 held position of Director. Appointed General Manager of the Welsh Associated Collieries Ltd. (Cambrian Group), whose collieries are situate in the Rhondda Valley and Gilfach Goch, October, 1923. Address: Glyncornel, Llwynypia, Glam.
