Biographical NotesDaniel, Leslie Henry, M.Sc.,(Eng.). The first Director of the National Coal Board's Central Engineering Establishment at Bretby, Derbyshire, was appointed in December, 1953. In 1946, was Senior Principal Scientific Officer, Ministry of Supply and in 1949 became Deputy Chief Engineer of the Vehicles Research and Development Establishment.
