Born Llandinam, 11th May, 1880; only son of late Edward Davies, of Plas Dinam, Llandinam. Educated Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh ; King's College, Cambridge. President of University College of Wales. Aberystwyth ; Member of Councils of University College of Wales, Bangor, University College of South Wales (Cardiff), and Normal College (Bangor); Member of Court of University of Wales; President, National Library of Wales; Director of Great Western Railway; Director of Midland Bank; President of Mining Education Board of South Wales ; President of King Edward VII Welsh National Memorial Association; Chairman of Welsh Council of League of Nations Union.
