Dillon, Malcolm, M.B.E. Born near Chester, 1859. Chief Agent to the Marquess of Londonderry, K.G.; Managing-Director of the Londonderry Collieries Ltd.; Director of the Seaham Harbour Dock Company, and other Companies in the North of England. Mayor of Jarrow, 1903-1906. President of Northern Union of Mechanics Institutes, 1904. First President of North East Coast Association of Secretaries. Author of History of Irish Banking, a development of a Paper which he read before the Institute of Bankers in London. Justice of the Peace for the County of Durham and Chairman of the Seaham Bench.
