Barker, H. W., Deputy Chairman, North-Western Division, National Coal Board, previously was Finance Director of the same Division. Was Part-time Secretary of the Deane Colliery Co., and later, worked for Thomson McLintock and Co. Was responsible for the financial side of the work, under Sir Robert Burroughs, of the creation of Lancashire Associated Collieries in 1935. Address: 40, Portland Street, Manchester, I.
