Biographical Notes
Ashwin, Guy H., J.P. Director and General Manager of the Wath Main Collieries, South Yorks. Born at Tamworth, 1860, Was educated at the Dedham Grammar School and at the Royal School of Mines. He trained in South Wales and Warwickshire. He also held the position of General Manager to the Charity Colliery, Bedworth; Manager of the Shipley Collieries, Derby, and General Manager of the Tinsley Park Collieries, Sheffield. He is a Director of the Yorkshire Coal Owners' Indemnity Co., and a member of the Central Committee of the Mining Association. Address: Wath Main Colliery, Wath-on-Dearne, Rotherham
