24th April, 1946, Bert Walton, an 18-year-old youth, son of Thomas Henry (deceased) and Mary Ellenor Walton of 4, Cleveland Terrace, Cockfield was killed by a fall of stone at Gordon House Colliery yesterday. He was employed by the company as a Pony Driver.
