No. 192 on the list occurred at New Brancepeth Colliery, belonging to Messrs. Cochrane & Co., Ltd., on the 5th of May, and caused the death of a belt boy. When his work was finished, instead of going by the proper way he crept under the jigger screen shafting, because it was a short cut, and part of his clothing was caught by the shafting, and he was swung round it and killed.
