- Additional information provided on the sources of the information on the page
- A new section for related links to other pages of interest relating to the colliery
– both on this site and elsewhere on the internet.
- For the larger collieries the employment figures are also shown graphically so that
the fluctuations in manpower can be more easily seen.
- More Mines Inspectors reports have been added to the disaster reports section.
- New section on Days Out of an Industrial Heritage flavour.

- New section for the Disaster Area: Disaster Reports, this will
house the Mines Inspectors Reports into Mining Disasters. We have started the section off with the
report into the Easington Disaster of 1951 - this year being the 50th Anniversary. Other reports
will be added over the coming months.
