Stone from a powder shot slightly cut a shot-firer's left side. Source: 1900 Mines Inspectors Report (Cd 536), Durham District (No. 4) by R. D. Bain, H.M. A stone from a powder shot fired in face of a place hit the side and rebounded round the corner into another place and hit a shotfirer on the head, cutting it severely.
