Shaw, Joseph, 01 Jul 1899, aged 60, Quarryman, He was boring a pop hole in a loose block of limestone, when another loose stone which was resting on the first mentioned block canted over. The man fell in trying to get out of the way and the stone rolled on to his head [Inspection made & inquest attended]

      

White, Charles, 12 May 1911, aged 66, Quarryman, he was run over by the locomotive as he was clearing the tramway
