Boundy, David, 12 Apr 1881, aged 29, Hewer, killed by a fall of stone, Buried: St. Nicholas, Cramlington

      

Hicks, Harry, 02 Sep 1873, aged 15, Putter, killed by a fall of stone, his father (William) was killed in the High Pit in 1869, Buried: St. Nicholas, Cramlington

      

Nicholls, Richard, 05 Jun 1897, aged 44, Deputy, The fore shift men had left the place in a safe condition and their deputy specially looked at it. The deceased, in the next shift, on going his rounds, was either jowling or preparing to set props when the stone suddenly fell on him. It fell from between a small hitch running at an angle along the face and a parting at one side [Inspection made & inquest attended]

      

Northey, William, 10 Jan 1866, aged 41, fall of stone, left a wife and six children [More information ...]

      

Williams, William, 30 Oct 1896, aged 15, Driver, He was found dead in front of a set of tubs on the main horse road, and it is supposed he fell from the top of the front tub and was killed [Inspection made & inquest attended]
