Rouke, John, 05 Nov 1889, aged 50, Miner, fall of stone from roof; the deceased found this piece of stone bad, and not being able to get it down, he intended to blast it down at the end of the shift; he then sat down under it to get his pipe, when it fell and killed him instantly; this place had not been inspected for nine hours previous to the accident
