Bland, Caleb, 21 Sep 1896, aged 24, Hewer, He was caught by a fall of stone when filling a tub. He should have had another plank set, considering the nature of the roof at this place, otherwise the place was well timbered [Inspection made]

      

McDowell, W., 28 Jun 1877, killed by a fall of roof

      

Mudge, William, 12 Jul 1888, aged 33, Hewer, fall of roof in a place newly timbered; soft, short roof fell between planks and suffocated the deceased
