Archer, John Stephenson, 15 Oct 1909, aged 35, Engineman, fracture of Pelton wheel

      

Burginer, Moritz, 24 Mar 1913, aged 54, Miner, deceased was engaged timbering at a fall on a heading, when the timber gave way and fell on to him, burying him beneath it and debris; deceased was dead when extricated

      

Robinson, Joseph, 02 Jun 1879, aged 51, Miner, killed by a fall of stone from roof

      

Shield, John, 04 May 1902, (accident: 03 May 1902), aged 40, Miner, deceased and two others raised the machine of a rock-drill in order to alter its position on the standard so as to drill another hole ; whilst in this position and uncramped it slipped down the standard, and, falling on a loose drill lying on the floor, caused it to spring up and strike deceased on the temple

      

Whitfield, Joseph, 10 Aug 1912, aged 21, Miner, deceased apparently bored into a hole containing a charge of gelatine dynamite which had missed fire on the previous shift
