Briggs, George W., 07 Oct 1892, (accident: 12 Mar 1891), aged 27, Hewer, died from injuries to spine caused by a fall of stone while following his employment in the Manor House Drift on the 12th March 1891 [fatality reported during the year but not classified as a colliery accident]

     

Peverley, George, 16 May 1899, aged 34, Hewer, While hewing in his place a large stone fell from some slips in the roof and killed him., Buried: All Saints, Lanchester
