Brocklebank, John, 20 Jul 1911, aged 36, Quarryman, he was struck on the head by a piece of slate which fell from the waggon as it was being hoisted to the "blondin" or aerial tramway

Casson, John, 27 Nov 1901, aged 25, Quarryman, Deceased was turning off a new working when a huge mass of rock fell from the side and buried him. Several other men had narrow escapes, but fortunately no one else was seriously injured [Inspection made & inquest attended]

Jackson, William, 28 Feb 1896, aged 40, Quarryman, Deceased was working down some ground with a light crow-bar, standing for the purpose on a projecting ledge of rock, about 16 inches square.
