Houlighan, James, 30 Apr 1912, aged 16, Driver, deceased had finished his shift and attempted to get on the buffer of a moving wagon in the sidings, when he tripped and his leg was run over; he died in the infirmary from shock and exhaustion

      

Hunter, Thomas, 12 Dec 1890, 11:45 a.m., 4th hour of shift, aged 26, Labourer, a winch was being used to raise and lower rods at a borehole; while lowering some rods the handle of the winch broke and flew through the air a considerable distance, striking deceased on its journey [More information ...]

      

Jameson, James, 19 Dec 1893, 11:10 p.m., 5th hour of shift, aged 26, Shifter, The deceased and another man were making a place ready for the hewers, when, without any warning, a stone fell from the roof. The place was considered safe by officials who had been in shortly before the accident happened [Inspection made & inquest attended]
