Lyons, Joseph, 05 Jul 1866, Switchkeeper, crushed by tubs (neglect of switch)

     

Peacock, William, 06 Jul 1857, Screenman, he was putting tubs of coal into the cage. For some inexplicable reason, he ran his tub down the shaft and fell after it, a distance of 27 fathoms
