Hines, William, 10 Oct 1891, 9:30 a.m., aged 53, Engine Driver, the mine was abandoned, and all the machinery had been sold by auction; Hines was an engine-driver at an adjoining mine, and after leaving his work at 7 a.m. he went home, had breakfast, and proceeded of his own accord to help a friend who had been told by the purchaser of a "bob" that he could have the timber if he got out the iron work; Hines slipped and fell down the shaft
