Woods, Joseph, 05 Sep 1891, 11:30 a.m., 6th hour of shift, aged 32, Iron Ore Miner, deceased was engaged at the foot of a slope picking rubbish from the ore, when a piece of ore fell from the roof, striking him on the head, causing injuries which proved fatal; at the inquest, evidence was given that the roof of this roadway had not been examined for a considerable time before the accident occurred [Inspection made & inquest attended]
