Buck, George, 30 Jan 1883, aged 41, Miner, fall of a large piece of stone while the deputies were preparing to put in timber for turning out another place, Buried: Skelton in Cleveland, All Saints on 02 Feb 1883 {NBI}

      

Clark, William, 11 May 1880, (accident: 10 May 1880), aged 48, Miner, severely injured by the explosion of a shot in a wall nearly holed into his bord ; he was warned by his partner as well as by the man who fired the shot in the wall, but he heeded neither

      

Duckering, James, 08 Oct 1878, aged 22, Miner, whilst taking off the corner of a pillar he drilled a hole nearly through the stone ; after charging and lighting the shot he went round the other side, and the shot blew through and killed him

      

Gates, John, 09 Apr 1879, aged 46, Miner, fall of roof caused by an over charged shot breaking out the props, he commenced filling the stone without renewing the timber, or sending for the Deputy to do so, Buried: Skelton in Cleveland, All Saints on 11 Apr 1879 {NBI}

      

Green, James, 13 Apr 1877, aged 13, Greaser, crushed by a sheave on the main road while oiling it

      

Halton, George, 13 Jun 1878, aged 50, Water Leader, while crossing the engine road he slipped on the rail and fell on the way, when a full set of tubs ran over him

      

Hutchinson, William, 28 Nov 1878, (accident: 19 Nov 1878), aged 19, Runrider, broken leg by tub running amain against him

      

Llewellyn, William, 05 Jan 1877, (accident: 03 Jan 1877), aged 50, Overman, broken leg and other injuries; crushed by tubs

      

Mitchell, Michael, 26 Apr 1883, aged 48, Miner, fall of a large piece of side stone from slip, probably shaken by a shot, crushing him against a tub
