Official Notice

Notice is hereby given, that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, John Joicey, William James Joicey, and James Joicey, and Edward Joicey, deceased, carrying on business together in copartnership, at Newcastle-upon-Tyne and elsewhere, as Colliery Owners, Coke Owners, Fire Brick Manufacturers, Brokers, and Merchants, and Workers and Vendors and Manufacturers of Coals and other matters connected therewith, under the style or firm of James Joicey and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 2nd day of September, 1870 (being the date of the death of the above named Edward Joicey); and notice is hereby further given, that the business will in future be carried on, under the aforesaid style or firm, by the undersigned John Joicey, William James Joicey and James Joicey, who will receive and pay all debts due to or owing from the late firm. — Dated this 31st day of August, 1880.
